Last Updated: 9th February 2026

The India International Wine Competition (“IIWC”), organised by Barrel Link Events, a division of Barrel Link Consulting, maintains a strict and transparent refund and cancellation policy to ensure fairness and administrative clarity for all participants.
Entry Fees
All entry fees paid for participation in the India International Wine Competition are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances once the entry has been submitted and payment has been successfully processed.
Entry fees cover administrative processing, judging preparation, and operational costs associated with the competition.
Payment Confirmation
Entries are considered valid only after successful receipt of payment. Participants are responsible for ensuring that payment details and transaction instructions are accurate at the time of submission.
Technical Payment Failures
If a payment is debited due to a verified technical error or payment gateway malfunction, participants may request a review. Refunds for such cases will be processed only after verification by the organisers and payment service providers.
Duplicate Payments
In the event of duplicate or excess payments caused by system or processing errors, participants may notify the organisers. Verified duplicate payments may be refunded after necessary administrative review.
Errors in Bank Transfers
If participants provide incorrect bank transfer details, incomplete payment references, or incorrect transfer amounts, the organisers are not responsible for delays or transaction losses. Any applicable refund or correction may be subject to administrative, banking, or currency conversion charges.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and logistics expenses related to sample submission are non-refundable and remain the sole responsibility of the participant.
Entry Withdrawal
Participants may withdraw their entries at any stage; however, entry fees already paid will not be refunded.
Competition Cancellation or Postponement
In the unlikely event that the competition is cancelled, rescheduled, or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to regulatory restrictions, force majeure events, or operational challenges, the organisers reserve the right to:
Offer entry transfer to a future edition of the competition, or
Provide alternative participation options at the organisers’ discretion
Refunds in such cases will be determined solely at the discretion of the organisers.
Force Majeure
The organisers shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government regulations, or transportation disruptions.
Contact for Refund Queries
Participants requesting payment reviews or clarifications may contact the organisers using the official contact details provided on the website. All refund or payment review requests must include relevant transaction details and supporting documentation.

Important Note:
For international participants, any approved refund shall be processed only after deduction of all applicable currency conversion charges, bank transfer fees, payment gateway charges, intermediary financial institution fees, and administrative charges. Exchange rate fluctuations and additional charges imposed by financial institutions remain the sole responsibility of the participant. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss arising from currency exchange variations or banking charges during refund processing.
